It depends on your ceiling and what you want to do. For storage and light service, a four-post parking lift like the Performance Hoist PH8S or Atlas Apex 9 is hard to beat. For repairs under a lower ceiling, a baseplate two-post like the Atlas BP8000 works well. Portable mid-rise lifts suit the tightest spaces.
Yes. The Performance Hoist PH8S runs on 110V with a 20A breaker, and the Atlas Apex 9 and Atlas Garage Pro 8000 run on 110V with a 30A breaker. The Atlas Kwik Bay uses a 120V power unit (30A breaker) plus shop air.
